HISTORIC KETTLE FALLS AND DAM

Visit the Kettle Falls Historic District where you can look south into Canada from the internatonal border, visit the dam, the 1912 dam-tenders cabin, the site of a blind pig, and the 1912 Kettle Falls Hotel.
Open May through September. Boat tours offered from the visitor centers.
 
GRAND MOUND HISTORY CENTER

A place of mystery and beauty, Grand Mound has a visitor center with exhibits, audio/visual programs, and hands on activities for the visitor. Over two miles of nature trails and a picnic area. The building, trails, and picnic area are all handicap accessible. Owned and operated by the Minnesota Historical Society, the site is located 17 miles west of Int'l Falls on Hwy 11.
Open May through Labor Day. Admission is free.

KOOCHICHING COUNTY & BRONCO NAGURSKI HISTORICAL MUSEUM

State of the art facility will preserve and educate all visitors about the history of Koochiching County with well-researched and exciting exhibits. Over 10,000 items are exhibited in the museum and cover other topics including Native American artifacts, geology, homesteading era, early settlement, farm equipment, antique cars, toys and dolls, and much, much more!

The Bronko Nagurski Museum is a lasting tribute to an outstanding man, athlete, and citizen. It is the first modern museum in America dedicated to an individual football player.
